Sunday: Harvest supper benefits artists program
|
The Djerassi Resident Artists Program will host its sixth annual fundraiser, Artful Harvest, on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 3 to 7:30 p.m. at the program's SMIP Ranch in the hills above Woodside. A multi-course harvest supper, created by chefs Mark Sullivan and Dmitry Elperin of Spruce and the Village Pub restaurants, will highlight the event.
Hors d'oeuvres and wine will kick off the afternoon for silent auction previews at 3 p.m. Supper will be served at 4 p.m., followed by entertainment by composer/trumpeter Sarah Wilson and choregraphers and aerial performers "Catch Me Bird," author Marilyn Yalom, and singer/songwriter Ronee Blakely.
The silent auction will include works by Djerassi alumni artists, as well as merchandise packages.
Artful Harvest reservations are $250 per person and may be made online at djerassi.org or by calling 747-1250. The Djerassi Resident Artists Program SMIP Ranch is located at 2325 Bear Gulch Road West in Woodside.
