All lanes of traffic on northbound U.S. 101 at Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto have reopened after a multi-vehicle crash involving a large bus shut down three lanes early Sunday (Oct. 14), according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash involving two cars and a bus was reported just before 4 a.m. at the Embarcadero Road exit of northbound 101.

Witnesses reported one man involved in the crash who was bleeding from his hand and had blood on his clothing. No further information about injuries was immediately available.

The roadway was cleared and all lanes reopened around 5:45 a.m.
