With both the Kepler's grand reopening and the annual State of the City speech, tonight looks like a busy night. And did we mention the second presidential debate?
Mayor Kirsten Keith will address Menlo Park from the Stanford Park Hotel at 100 El Camino Real. Co-sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, the event includes recognition of the city's commissioners, and runs from 6 to 8 p.m.
Attendees can the join the grand reopening party at Kepler's Books and Magazines.
Michael Doyle, author of "Radical Chapters: Pacifist Bookseller Roy Kepler and the Paperback Revolution," will hold a discussion with Christin Evans, one of the new owners of the long-time Menlo Park landmark.
The party runs from 7 to 10 p.m. at the bookstore (1010 El Camino Real). Snacks, drinks and books will be on hand -- as will the presidential debate, on a big-screen television.
