Highway 1 near Half Moon Bay reopened after fatal crash this morning

At least one person was killed and two others critically injured when a car went off the roadway on state Highway 1 south of Half Moon Bay
this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
A Sig-alert was issued at 9:03 a.m. for the highway closure at Pescadero Creek Road; the highway was reopened in both directions at about 11:30. The accident was reported at 8:28 a.m., CHP Officer James Evans said.
