Tonight at Kepler's: Joseph McNamara

Menlo Park resident and former San Jose police chief Joseph D. McNamara will speak about his book, "Love and Death in Silicon Valley," at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Kepler's bookstore, 1010 El Camino Real in Menlo Park.

He started his career as a beat cop in Harlem. A vocal national spokesperson for Hand Gun Control Inc. and critic of America's War on Drugs, he is currently at the Hoover Institute at Stanford.
