Tonight: Santa visits fire stations

The tradition continues this holiday season with Santa appearing at the Woodside Fire Protection District's three open houses on Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m.

All three of the fire stations are decked out in colorful Christmas decorations, ready to welcome visitors to come enjoy cocoa and cookies, sit on Santa's lap for a quick photo opportunity, and admire the fire trucks.

The stations are located at: 3111 Woodside Road in Woodside; 4091 Jefferson Avenue in Emerald Hills; and 135 Portola Road in Portola Valley.

Everyone is encouraged to bring new unwrapped gifts and donate them to the Toys for Tots program in San Mateo County. Collection bins will be posted at the stations until Christmas.
