Free Friday at county history museum
|
The San Mateo County History Museum continues its free first Fridays program on Dec. 7. Not only is admission free the entire day (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), but two programs are offered without fees.
At 11 a.m. preschool children will learn about houses and make their own family portrait to take home. The staff will then present a program in the "California Dream" exhibit gallery and children will hear the story, "The Little House."
At 2 p.m. museum docents will lead tours to the museum for adults. The San Mateo County History Museum is located within the Old Courthouse at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City.
