Portola Valley hearings tied to affordable housing

Bookmark and Share
Portola Valley will hold two hearings Wednesday, Dec. 12, that are tied to the town's affordable housing plans. The hearings concern the town's plans to sell two properties the town owns in the Blue Oaks neighborhood. Proceeds from the sale would be used to buy a site at 900 Portola Road for a number of small houses affordable to people of moderate incomes

One hearing will deal with a lot-line adjustment necessary for the Blue Oaks sale to go forward. The other hearing will be on a decision to sell the Blue Oaks properties and hear protests if any.

The council meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at Historic Schoolhouse at 765 Portola Road in Portola Valley.

affordable housing in portola valley? is this tied in with the holiday season or is this a put-on? the housing in the bay area is way out of reach for regular people. come back to earth and make the bay area the way it was, how it used to be

should be a great brawl - local government vs. a group of neighbors to the proposed sight who created an umbrella organization so they don't appear to be a bunch of neighbors opposed to the proposed sight!
