One hundred and fifty Woodside middle school students gathered at Woodside Elementary School on Friday, Dec. 14, to help wrap about 700 Christmas gifts for children in need. The gifts were donated by the local nonprofit Peace Builders.
The gifts included warm colorful blankets, toys, stuffed animals and new holiday clothes. They will go to children served by Project We Hope, St. Francis of Assisi Youth Club, and St. Anthony's Church.
Peace Builders has shipped more than $65 million of aid to orphans and for disaster relief.
Diane Eskenazi is a Woodside resident.
