It's a new year, but there will be little that's new on the San Mateo County Transportation Authority board in 2013.
County Supervisor Carole Groom has been re-elected chair of the board by her colleagues, and Karyl Matsumoto will serve again as its vice president.
The make-up of the board will change by one member when the agency's City Selection Committee chooses someone to represent northern county cities, a position recently vacated by retiring Brisbane city council member Sepi Richardson.
The Transportation Authority administers the county's Measure A half-cent sales tax, which funds public transit and traffic congestion-relief programs throughout the county.
The seven-member board meets the first Thursday of the month in San Carlos.
The other board members are: county Supervisor Don Horsley; Naomi Patridge, a Half Moon Bay council member; Burlingame City Council member Terry Nagel; and Rosanne Foust of the Redwood City council.
