Tonight: New Century orchestra kickoff concert

The New Century Chamber Orchestra's kickoff concert for its national tour will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Menlo-Atherton High School Performing Arts Center.

The concert will include works by Mendelssohn, Bolcom, Hector Villa-Lobos and Richard Strauss.

Admission is $29 to $59. The Performing Arts Center is at 555 Middlefield Road in Atherton. Visit www.ncco.org for more information.
