Today: Design race cars in Portola Valley

Design your own race cars on Thursday afternoon at the Portola Valley library. Christie's Creative Cupboard will provide with toy cars and paint; once the cars are ready, attendees can race each other's creations.

Funded by the Friends of the Portola Valley Library, the event, open to all ages, runs from 4 to 5 p.m. at the library at 765 Portola Road. Go to the website or call 851-0560 for more information.
