Woman arrested on grand theft, forgery charges
|
A Redwood City woman was arrested Saturday on grand theft and forgery charges after investigators discovered she had been stealing money from her employers and forging items for the past four years, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said.
Sandy Delgado, 28, came under suspicion on Jan. 18 after members of a family in the North Fair Oaks area for whom she had worked for years reported several incidents of forgery and grand theft occurring over the past 18 months, Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt said today.
Investigators uncovered 66 additional incidents dating back over the past four years, Rosenblatt said.
Delgado was arrested today on 95 counts of grand theft and forgery, and is in custody on $950,000 bail.
