La Entrada celebrates Lunar New Year

La Entrada middle school in Menlo Park celebrated the Lunar New Year on Feb. 6 with a fan dance performance by Orchard School Asian Cultural Dance Troupe from Orchard Elementary School in San Jose.

Performances were coupled with a historical narration by La Entrada students.

The event was designed to promote La Entrada's pilot Mandarin language classes, said Assistant Principal Sonya Dineen.
