A motorcyclist appears to have suffered minor injuries in a four-vehicle crash near La Honda late this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The crash, which involved the motorcycle and three cars, was reported near 3540 La Honda Road, between the towns of La Honda and San Gregorio, at 11:47 a.m., CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.

As a longtime resident of La Honda, I have come to view anything with two wheels as a hazard on the roads here, and it's been getting worse with each passing summer. Almost everyone out here has a story to tell, and many people have been impacted directly by irresponsible drivers and riders. It bothers me that I worry about my mom and sister driving to and from church in PV on any given Sunday, because of maniac motorcycle riders passing on blind corners, risking a head-on for a cheap thrill. It would be nice if they would donate to our volunteer fire department, since they'll be the ones scraping these guys off the road later on this year. Hwy 84 is a beautiful drive, let's all enjoy it without compromising each others safety. Drive/ride safe and be courteous on the road!
