Alex Stoll was awarded the grand prize in the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District's first annual digital photo contest for his picture "Catching the Sunrise at Vista Point." The photograph was taken at the La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve.

Eric Lew earned second place for his photo "Reflection," taken at the Monte Bello Open Space Preserve, and Karl Gohl won third place for "Northern Harrier Hunting," taken at the Windy Hill Open Space Preserve.
