A house on Ware Road in Woodside sold for $1,125,000 on July 21, 2009. The house previously sold for $1,595,000 in October 2002. TheAlmanacOnline's real estate Web site features a listing of homes sold in local towns, maps of homes for sale, neighborhood guides, virtual tours and more.

Correction: Ware Road is not in the Town of Woodside. It is in unincorporated San Mateo County.

Pardon me, I think I missed the newsworthy aspect of this story. Are we supposed to be shocked that a home in Woodside sold for such a paltry sum as $1.1 million?
