The U.S. Geological Survey, together with Coast Salish Peoples, blend science and tradition to sample Puget Sound water quality along ancestral canoe routes to balance needs of coastal ecosystems and human livelihood.
A free program on this topic runs from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the USGS Menlo Park Science Center, 345 Middlefield Road, Bldg. 3, Conf. Room A., in Menlo Park.
