An electrical power outage in Portola Valley has affected some homes and businesses along Portola Road from about Old La Honda Road at the border with Woodside to Grove Drive near the Woodside Priory.

Pacific Gas & Electric is predicting that power will be restored around 12:15 p.m., according to a Portola Valley Assistant Town Manager Janet McDougall.

A resident of The Sequoias retirement community reported that power went out around 9:30 a.m.
