Hwy. 84 reopens following major-injury crash

State Highway 84 in unincorporated San Mateo County has reopened after a motorcycle crashed Monday afternoon (Nov. 30), causing major injuries to its rider, according to the to the California Highway Patrol.
The solo motorcycle crash was reported shortly before 2 p.m. on Highway 84 at Madera Lane, CHP Officer Kevin Kroncke said.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, he said.
A Sig-alert issued at 2:34 p.m. was canceled at 4:21 p.m.
