The Portola Valley and Woodside town halls are closed for the holidays and will reopen Monday morning, Jan. 4.

Atherton administrative offices and post office are closed Jan. 1, but otherwise there is no change in the hours, including New Year's Eve.

The libraries in Portola Valley, Atherton and Woodside will close at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, and are closed the first three days of January -- for "cost savings," according to the San Mateo County Library system. They will reopen Monday morning, Jan. 4.
