Tonight: How to coexist with mountain lions
|
A woman who for two years has been monitoring mountain lions in the Santa Cruz Mountains will give a talk in Woodside about how to coexist with them.
The talk starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, in Independence Hall at 2955 Woodside Road. It will be followed by questions.
The speaker is Yiwei Wang, a doctoral student at UC Santa Cruz who has been putting tracking devices on dozens of mountain lions to learn about their behavior, health and habitat.
To reserve a seat, call Town Hall at 851-6790.
