Marti Tedesco submitted this photo, taken by Carrie Sweetnam, of members of the M-A Bears football team, who spent their Saturday repainting the grandstand at Menlo-Atherton High School in preparation for their first season of Friday night games under the lights. The Bears open their season on Friday, Sept. 2, with a game against El Camino High School. The JVs will play at 4 p.m. and the varsity at 7 p.m.

Who were the people that didn't want the lights. Does anyone know.

A small group of neighbors didn't want lights and don't want the community to use this great public asset.

See the record of their desires for the "quiet" home they purchased next to a high school in the Town Council minutes over the last 7 years.

Who in their right mind buys a home next to a school and expects it to be "quiet?" Stupid.

How did town council vote on it. Who voted what, and where do they live?
