Law Library program on estate planning for pets
|
| For pet owners concerned about who will care for their beloved animal companion if there is a death in the family, the San Mateo County Law Library is offering guidance.
A free brown-bag lecture at the library Thursday, led by lawyer Colleen McAvoy, will give an overview of estate planning for pets in the event that their owner dies or becomes incapacitated.
The lecture takes place at noon Aug. 16. The library is located at 710 Hamilton St. in Redwood City.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the event.
For more information, call (650) 363-4913 or go to www.smcll.org .
