Letter: Why the cheap shot at the GOP?

This letter is in response to "GOP a disappointment" in a recent Almanac.

Clearly The Almanac has chosen to publish a cheap shot at Republicans and, of course, show its political bias. Here we have a majority of voters fed up with our Democratic administration that has no clue about creating jobs unless government jobs. They do know how to print money with most of it going to their union and other friends who in turn help them get re-elected.

I wish the Almanac would stick to local news and stop this obvious propaganda. We already have a SF Chronicle for that.

"most of the printed press are marketing arms of the Democratic Pary."

Yeah, Obama is a Kenyen!
Web Link

And he raised taxes!! (except for the fact he has cut them)
Web Link

And Obama won't support small business (except it's the GOP that blocked the bill)
Web Link

So help me out with your statement:
"They joyously eviscerate the GOP with outright lies..."

And prove how the corporate media has lied about the GOP. Show your homework/links. And do it without referring to FOX (donated a million bucks to the GOP gov races) or Koch brother funded ultra conservative sites, like heritage. Even the WSJ is starting to get suspect, owned by the fox guy.

Please, share your work... and without attacking other posters, if you can.

"Lets face it, Obama is as incompetent if not more so than Jimmy Carter."

Yet preferred by a tremendous number of voters over John "the economy is fine" McCain/Bush III. Funny that.

We love how tea-baggers talk deficits, but ignore it when GOP runs them (Reagan, Bush 1, dubya) and want to INCREASE the deficit with tax cuts for millionaires. Funny that.

Obama screwed up health care without a doubt. 4 of 10 Americans say he didn't go far enough. Cut American health care costs by eliminating health insurance companies, all they do is add 30% to cost vs. single payor, medicare buy-in for all or the public option. He didn't do any of it. Not so funny that.

"Obama has indeed raised taxes"
And you are conveniently ignoring all the tax cuts - $350B for the middle class in the stimulus, that never got a GOP vote. Where were they, after Bush and his GOP congress almost caused the second (republican) Great Depression? All the while, they doubled the national debt.

Sheesh, take the blinders off. Switch the channel from fox.
