Menlo Park school celebrates Peace Day

Menlo Park's German-American International School joined other schools around the world Sept. 21 in celebrating the United Nations-declared International Peace Day.

The school held an assembly, incorporating peace messages into performing and visual arts. This event ended with students observing a moment of silence, accompanied by a peace prayer.

Founded in 1988, the German-American School is located at 275 Elliott Drive in Menlo Park.
