What is the Riekes Center?

The Riekes Center for Human Enhancement is a nonprofit mentoring organization founded by Gary Riekes of Woodside. Located in a renovated warehouse at 3455 Edison Way in the North Fair Oaks area, it offers middle and high school students opportunities to improve in athletics and the arts through summer and after-school programs. The 40,000 square-foot space houses a modern athletic facility, batting cages, a nature studies department, a sound room and a video center. Financial aid and work-study arrangements are available. Call 364-2509 or go to www.Riekes.org.
