Meet PV school board candidates Tuesday

The two candidates for a seat on the school board of the Portola Valley School District plan to participate in a candidates' forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Hansen Hall at The Sequoias retirement community, 501 Portola Road in Portola Valley. The public is invited.

I strongly endorse Bill Youstra for the school board. His combination of educational and business experience will enable him to bring pragmatic leadership to what will be a difficult few years - while we advance the quality of our kid's education in a tough budget environment.
