Letter: Protesting the protesters who picketed KKR

Yesterday (July 17) the building in which I work was picketed by the SEIU. They were protesting the tax status (capital gains) of another company (KKR) that has offices in the building.

The letter-writer has learned the art of diversion very well, engaging in the ol' switch-the-focus-to-the-"enemy" tactic. He scorns and belittles the union, but doesn't address what the protest was about: Outrageous tax breaks for corporations that cost the federal treasury billions of dollars.

Come on, Pat, attack the message if you disagree. Ignoring the message while savaging the messenger is intellectually dishonest.
