Sustainable living sage talks in Portola Valley

Amory Lovins, MacArthur Fellow and noted spokesman on tackling global warming by living more efficiently, spoke about sustainable living to an overflow crowd at Portola Valley's new community hall on Oct. 13. Mr. Lovins is the chief scientist and founder of the nonprofit Colorado-based Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), a "think-and-do" tank, as Mr. Lovins puts it, with a mission of making the world "secure, just, prosperous and life-sustaining."

You have omitted Hunter Lovins name, which makes your article's facts incorrect.

Amory was CO-founder of RMI, and Amory and Paul CO-wrote Natural Capitalism with L. Hunter Lovins.

Do you have something against her?!

Marean - My apologies. You are correct about the co-authorship of "Natural Capitalism," and about Amory Lovins being the co-founder, not the founder, of the Rocky Mountain Institute.

For the record, I have nothing against L. Hunter Lovins. If she is also a co-founder of RMI, that fact is not obvious on their website.
