No on 2! Cock-a-doodle-doo!

Original post made by Meghan F. on Oct 23, 2008

I have noticed that the opponents of much needed Proposition 2, a measure to end overcrowding of laying hens, pregnant pigs, and calves, are largely those who are affiliated with or profit from the abusive factory farm business. Supporters of Proposition 2 are a more diverse group that includes both California senators, the California Veterinary Medical Association, United Farm Workers, public figures such as Dr. Jane Goodall and Michael Pollan, the Union of Concerned Scientists, advocates for safe food and many more. See www.humanecaliforia.org for a complete list. Proposition 2 is a measure that is long overdue.
