Redwood Hoosiers take basketball title

A scrappy band of seven players from the Redwood Hoosiers eighth-grade girls All-Net team claimed the National Junior Basketball championship on March 29 with a two-point win over Anaheim, 39-37, in a tournament down in Irvine, California.
