Steven Chu speaks in Menlo Park on U.S. energy future

U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu is coming to Menlo Park Friday to talk about his vision for the country's energy future.

Before going to Lawrence Livermore, Steven Chu was a professor at Stanford Univ. where he was working when he received his Nobel Prize.

So it is both fitting that Dr. Chu is back in this area and great news that Tesla is getting funding to produce affordable electric cars.

I plan to listen to Dr. Chu to try and figure out why he is not providing significant funding for fuel cell technologhy
