M-A Boys Varsity Basketball survive against Terra Nova

Original post made by calfan on Feb 10, 2010

Coming off a shocking victory over previously undefeated Burlingame, the Menlo-Atherton Bears played inspired basketball for the first half, going into the locker room leading 26 – 12. Terra Nova surged back in the 3rd quarter, outscoring M-A 16-10. But the Bears caught enough of a second wind in the 4th quarter to cruise to a 45-35 win. Leading all scorers was Nils Gilbertson, followed closely behind by Jeff Keller. M-A continues to be stung by injuries with only 8 players available to Coach White and the Bears.
