Night lights at M-A would be temporary

The governing board of the high school district has asked the staff to proceed with an investigation into the logistics of installing temporary lights at the football field at Menlo-Atherton High School.

Temporary ??
I think this will be just as "TEMPORARY" as our Bay Area Bridge Tolls were said to be back in the 1930 s.
Bay Area motorists are STILL paying these stupid fees almost 80 years after they were said to be a "temporary" financing measure.
The sad truth is that when these football lights go in and on at M-A, there will be no stopping them from being used year after year.
