Vote No on Prop 26

Original post made by Linda C., Menlo Park: University Heights, on Oct 27, 2010

While I agree with you on the recommendation for a No vote on Prop 23, I am surprised that you have no opinion or mention of Prop 26. It is almost as bad, as it would make it virtually impossible to require that "polluters" pay for damages related to obtaining a permit. This is known as a "regulatory fee" and should still be considered as a fee rather than a tax. I would have hoped that you would recommend a No on Prop 26.
