Left Bank hires architect for new steakhouse

The new year will welcome a new Left Bank steakhouse at 898 Santa Cruz Ave. in downtown Menlo Park, the former location of Marche restaurant at the corner of University Drive. According to spokesman Tom Walton, the restaurant plans to debut in the first quarter of 2012.

It's about time. It will be nice not having to leave my neighborhood to have a nice meal.

Looking forward to a great restaurant and I hope that Menlo Park permit process moves quickly and does everything possible to make Left Bank Steak happen ASAP. I as a voter will be watching
