District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe and DDA Brian Donnellan have really slanted the Jesse Wilson case in their favor.

This would be a good case to review by citizen oversight committee if we had one.

Both sides have rested and the jury will get it in the morning. I want to say that the above description was from testimony from the five witnesses that the District Attorney calls victims.
Jesse Wilson testified most of the day and gave quite a different story. He also used the word gang in his testimony which the DA hates for some reason.

DDA Brian Donnellan closed with a curious statement, He asked if Jesse considered taking pepper spray out instead of the gun. Now here is a man who stepped outside his apartment to help someone, he brought a loaded 38 with him. After showing the gun, in the hopes it would get these people to stop and leave, he gets the Holy Crap beat out of him......sure the pepper spray would have been a nice choice, results would have been the same....a beating

When I say really slanted, let me give you an example. Everyone involved knows that the neighbors next to Jesse Wilson had a terrifying experience with the group of 5 just seconds before Jesse Wilson stepped outside his apartment in his fuzzy slippers and a .38 cal. gun.

DA Steve Wagstaffe and DDA Brian Donnellan know that it was the noise from that experience that caused Jesse to take action. They saw no reason to interview this couple, no questions asked, and no subpoena to testify in court...why?

Menlo Voter,

Yes he did, the court allowed video of their testimony, They did not want to be identified, and they moved from the apartment they had just moved into 30 days prior, and they have now moved from the state of California.

Verdict in......Not Guilty both counts of Attempted Murder.

Hung Jury on five counts of assault with a deadly weapon. 7 to 5 in favor of Not Guilty.

One of the jurors asked DDA Brian Donnellan what he thought about several of his witnesses lying under oath....His response " I don't believe they lied."

Jury did a Great Job.

Now the question is will the DA do the right thing by bringing assault charges against the purported "Victims" group of 5...
