I agree that the Republican Party is dead unless they let up on their bigotry policies that they have advocated since the 1960s. Women, non-whites, and gays are gaining their political and corporate voices. Continuing to belittle these groups is destroying the Republican Party.
Paul K. wrote: "You never hear, "Republicans lose elections because they want a stable economy and don't want to bury future generations in debt." "
Perhaps young Master Kiraly should do a little reading about the recent past and ask some questions of his parents:
- "Mommy, which Republican presidents have had a balanced budget, or left a surplus? They always talk about it when they're out of power, but who actually walked the walk?"
- "Daddy, why did Republican George Bush create the first trillion dollar deficit in history, after being left a budget surplus by Democrat Bill Clinton?"
- "Mother, Father - how are we supposed to pay for the residual trillions in Iraq war costs (vet health costs, rebuilding the military, etc...)? You know, the war that was caused by Bush and Cheney declaring that Saddam absolutely had WMD, and we would absolutely be greeted as liberators? Or would be paid for by Iraqi oil?"
You're a smart kid, Paul, keep learning. And don't hide behind the "it's only the social issues that cause intelligent Californians to detest the GOP" meme. We detest the GOP for SO many reasons.
Perhaps Mr Kiraly or Mr Hicky can enlighten us on frivilous use of lawsuits.
The problem is with Republicrats. A Ranked Voting system Web Link is needed if real change is to occur. I suspect that Mr. Kiraly is more aligned with the Ron Paul philosophy, as am I. I invite urkers in this topic to take the quiz World's Smallest Political Quiz Web Link to see where they fit in the political spectrum.
Paul said, "We want a socially liberal but fiscally conservative party." That's libertarian.

Yet Rand Paul said last year that he would not have voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Web Link
That's not 'libertarian', that's crazy talk!
Almost as crazy as an non-board certified ophthalmologist creating his own board, just to call himself board certified.
Young Rand leaned a lot from his pop.
"Republican Senate candidate for Kentucky, and Tea Party darling, Rand Paul is an ophthalmologist. But is he a "board certified" opthamologist?
The American Board of Ophthalmology says no, Paul is not registered with that organization.
But Paul says his board certification comes instead from The National Board of Ophthalmology, the Courier Journal reported this week that Paul said his certification comes from the National Board of Ophthalmology not the larger American Board, or ABO.
The NBO filed as a non-profit corporation in 1999 with the State of Kentucky, listing Rand Paul as both the president and director. The NBO's own articles of incorporation do not explain its certification procedure."
Good job, Rand Paul!
Don't need no stinkin' bureaucracy! Just create your own credentials! What could possibly go wrong?
Can't wait to see Rand go up against Big Jeb, Marco the Amnesty King, Ricky Google-problem, lil' Paulie Ryan and Sarah in 2016!
Good times for all.
Does the young author know the "fiscal responsibility" party is bankrupt in California?
They owe something like 800 grand, they don't have.
