I would like to be the first to applaud Helen's dedication to the students of our county! She has been an incredibly dedicated addition to the education community and her support for the arts has been unflagging! I had the honor of meeting her when I first became a school board member in 1998 and Helen was welcoming and supportive both to me and to anybody who cared about children. Helen, you will be missed but your legacy will live on! Thank you so much for all you have done for San Mateo County!

Fabulous and amazing Helen:

Thank you for everything you've done to make education a bright spot in students' lives! From your time as PTA President at M-A and the 17th District PTA to your work on the Sequoia Union High School District board and the Community College board, you have been a positive influence and force for all of San Mateo County. Your community leadership knows no bounds, and the Red Cross is also so lucky to have your commitment, leadership, and dedication. Thank you for all you do and your incredible friendship!
