Sunday: Djerassi open studios

The Djerassi Resident Artists Program will hold its annual "Open House/Open Studios" from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 28. This is the one day of the year the program's Artists' Barn and private grounds are open to the general public.

Just went to the web site and the open house is announced as being sold out. :-(

Kataoka's art pieces look much more compelling on the Djerassi website. They're lovely! Good for them that they're sold out, bad for the rest of us.

Apparently this is the era of "open houses" that charge admission!
