Can we rise to the challenge of rising sea levels?

The monster in San Mateo County's closet is rising sea level, an issue humanity will be dealing with for the next 1,000 years, scientists say. About $24 billion of infrastructure and property are vulnerable in the county, including major corporations and the homes of about 110,000 residents.
