Bike racer John Tarlton has crossed the Mississippi River

As of about 10:15 a.m. Pacific time, John Tarlton, a Menlo Park businessman who left Oceanside on June 10 in a time-trial-like bicycle race across the country, had crossed the Mississippi River, completing 2089.84 miles.

Is a list of all the Bay Area participants available? I believe there are 1 or 2 women from the south bay in this race.
