From precinct 3420 at Alpine Hills

Krenz 85

Swan 30

Ward 37

It looks like Vote by Mail ballots that haven't been counted and provisionals will determine the second place finish.

It's Trancos not Tancos in the headline. The headline is misleading because a winner hasn't been declared for the second seat. There are more than 5 mail in votes to be counted. "Krenz elected to Water Board, Ward currently leads Swan" would be a more accurate headline.
