Roberts Market could get use permit this week
Portola Valley, posted by Judy Lurie, a resident of the Portola Valley: Portola Valley Ranch neighborhood, on Dec 4, 2007 at 8:37 pm

Unfortunately, I can't be at the meeting about this at the historic schoolhouse tomorrow night, but I certainly hope the use permit is issued without further delay. I think having the market as a gathering spot is a lovely idea. However, if discussion about outdoor benches and so forth will cause significant further delay, I'd rather dispense with that, since I believe the market will be a natural gathering spot in any case. I really, really miss having any market there, and especially look forward to having one of Roberts Market quality. I do not like, especially in this era of environmental concerns and expensive gasoline, having to drive over 2 miles if I need a couple of eggs ! I didn't anticipate having to do this when I moved to Portola Valley.

So lets get on with it !
