Congratulations to the Tuxedo Penguins who took 1st place in the AYSO Section 2 tournament (the Pacific Northwest states, Northern California and Northern Nevada). The victory qualifies them for the next round in Los Angeles where they will compete with Southern California teams in March, 2008. The victory follows an earlier victory in the area tournament covering teams from Palo Alto, Mountain View, Menlo Park, Los Altos, and Sunnyvale. The championship game was a battle against a tough team from Brisbane California, where the penguins pulled out a 4-2 victory.
