Pharmaca plans store in downtown Menlo Park

Pharmaca, a growing chain of pharmacies that offers both prescription medication and natural remedies, is taking steps to set up shop on Santa Cruz Avenue in Menlo Park.

The pharmacy chain, based in Boulder, Colorado, plans to remodel the former Dal Baffo restaurant site at 878 Santa Cruz Ave., according to permit requests filed with the city's planning department in December.

Apparently the deal is off that would have brought Pharmaca to Menlo Park

Speaking of which, anyone know what happened to GM, which was supposed to be the best next new thing to save MP? One day it was headline news, then seemed to vanish from the radar without a whimper.
