Parking Enforcer Strikes Again!
Around Town, posted by Ticked, a resident of the Menlo Park: Central Menlo Park neighborhood, on Jan 14, 2008 at 8:34 pm

I got a parking ticket in the mail today from the City of Menlo Park. Not that getting a parking ticket in this town is hard to do! Heck, sometimes just thinking the thought that your tires may be too close to the white lines could be enough.

My ticket came as a complete surprise! Not only don't I know which of our chewed up parking lots is Plaza 3, but I never had the pleasure of finding the ticket on my windshield. That's right, it was a stealth ticket! Is that legal?

I seem to remember something about free parking around town the week before Christmas, am I wrong? Was it for certain parking plazas? My ticket was dated 12/21, and if I'm not mistaken, that falls within those guidelines.

Oh, I know a parking ticket isn't a big deal, but it really bothers me! Where the heck is Plaza #3!! LOL
