That's right Portola Valley friends, Ormondale has more books, videos and software for our Used Book Fair than we ever dreamed. We have an amazing assortment of books for everyone from early readers to teens and adults and from diverse subjects including cooking, gardening, parenting, travel, holiday, sports, comics, etc.
For kids there are books for every reading level and we have every series you could think of and many Newberry and Caldecott winners. We now have so many boxes of kids non-fiction that we started to break it down in subjects with nature, science and more.
And the adult books . . . well let's just say that your summer reading is awaiting you. We have numerous adult fiction and non fiction and if you are looking for reference books on parenting or coaching, relieving stress or making a deal we got them.
So come on down to the Ormondale MUR (200 Shawnee Pass) next week Monday thru Thursday during the hours listed below. You can't beat the prices with a majority of the books selling for $1 and $2!
And the best part is, these book sales will benefit a great cause.
Proceeds from this fair will benefit the Ormondale Literacy Library and also be donated to the Central Asia Institute, an organization that creates literacy programs in the mountain regions of Central Asia.
Also important to note that this fair in large part is being run by our 3rd graders from Ormondale who have jumped into the book fair business as part of their global school learning.
We decided to open the fair all day Monday due to the huge demand.
Tuesday thru Thursday hours are listed below. COME ON DOWN. Bring your kids, grandparents, friends and neighbors! In line with our conservation efforts we would appreciate your bringing your own bag if you can. See you there!
Fair hours are Monday, Feb. 11, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Tuesday through Thursday, Feb. 12-14, from 8 a. m. to 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., and noon to 4 p.m.
