Unlocked cars enable thieves in Allied Arts

Unlocked vehicles and darkened streets in Menlo Park's Allied Arts neighborhood apparently presented an opportunity to a thief or thieves on Sunday night, Feb. 17. Six thefts have been reported, and more are coming in today.

More street lights might be helpful in deterring crime, and would be welcomed by me. Then I would also feel more comfortable jogging through the neighborhood at night.
